Controls

Amount0 to 100 — Compression amount: 0 does nothing, higher values lower the threshold (down to -30 dB) and raise the ratio (up to 6:1), with automatic makeup gain

Properties

Input → stereo-linked RMS-style detector (5 ms) → gain computer (threshold 0 to -30 dB, ratio 1:1 to 6:1) → 10 ms attack, 150 ms release smoothing → automatic makeup (half the gain reduction at threshold, up to about +12.5 dB) → Output. Zero latency; 0 is a clean pass-through.
