Controls

Filter−100 to +100 — Left of centre a 24 dB/oct low-pass sweeps down from 20 kHz to 60 Hz; right of centre a high-pass sweeps up from 20 Hz to 10 kHz; 0 is the dry signal, bit for bit

Best uses

DJ-style filter sweeps for transitions and breakdowns
Build tension by slowly opening a high-pass before a drop
Muffle a loop or whole mix for a 'next room' effect
Automate a single knob for filter rises and falls
Quickly thin out or darken a bus during arrangement

Properties

Signal chain: Input → two cascaded TPT state-variable stages (24 dB/oct low-pass and high-pass, both always running) → crossfade with the dry signal over the first 5% of travel → Output. A resonance bump grows with the amount; the knob glides over 20 ms so moves and automation do not zipper. Exactly transparent at 0; stereo, zero latency.
