Properties
An instrument: MIDI in, stereo out, no samples, 16 voices (the same key struck again takes a new voice and releases the old one; a 17th key takes the oldest voice, released ones first, after a 2 ms fade). Each key is a two-operator FM tone whose index falls after the strike, with a fast and a slow decay, plus up to three modal partials (damped resonators at the model's overtone ratios) and a short mallet noise; higher keys decay faster. Keys start with a 0.2 to 1.5 ms ramp and fade over Release; the sustain pedal (CC 64) holds them, all notes off (CC 123/120) releases every key. The voices are spread a little by pitch, then pass the drive (a soft clipper), the tremolo (level or autopan) and a stereo chorus. Sample-accurate and the same in the JSFX, the GFX version and the VST3/CLAP.
