Controls

• Rate0.1 to 5 Hz — Speed of the sine LFO sweeping the all-pass filters.
• Stages1 to 8 — Number of all-pass stages; more stages create more notches.
• Mix0 to 100% — Amount of phased signal added to the dry signal.
• Depth0 to 100% — Width of the sweep around Center; 57% is the classic sweep from 440 Hz to 1.6 kHz.
• Feedback−95 to +95% — Amount of the phased signal fed back into the all-pass chain: higher values sharpen the peaks, negative values move them between the notches. Above 30% the wet level is trimmed to keep the peaks in check.
• Center200 to 5000 Hz — Middle frequency of the sweep (1020 Hz by default, log scale from 200 Hz to 5 kHz).
• Stereo Phase0 to 180 deg — Offset between the left and right LFOs: 0 deg sweeps both channels together, 180 deg sweeps them in opposite directions for a wide stereo swirl.
• Tempo SyncOff / 1/1 / 1/2 / 1/4 / 1/8 / 1/16 / 2/1 / 4/1 / 1/4T / 1/8T / 1/4D / 1/8D — Locks one LFO cycle to a note value at the project tempo (and to the bar while the transport plays), replacing Rate. Off uses Rate.

Best uses

• Swirling movement on guitars and keys
• Vintage phasing on synths
• Subtle motion on pads
• Psychedelic effects on drums and vocals

Properties

Input → 1–8 first-order all-pass stages swept by a sine LFO (roughly 440–1600 Hz range) with fixed 30% feedback → added to the dry signal by Mix → Output. One LFO drives both channels; zero latency.
