Controls

TriggerIdle / Trigger — Set to Trigger to start a stop; returns to Idle automatically after the spin-up
Stop Time50 to 5000 ms — Time for playback to slow to a halt
Start Time50 to 5000 ms — Time for playback to spin back up to normal speed

Best uses

Tape-stop transitions at the end of sections
DJ-style turntable brakes
Dramatic drops and breakdowns
Automated spin-down effects on vocals or full mixes

Properties

Signal chain: Input → 12 s Buffer → Varispeed Read (quadratic slow-down, square-root spin-up) → 10 ms Crossfade → Output. Audio passes untouched while Idle; the tape output also fades as the motor stops; zero latency.
