Controls

  • TargetLowpass / Bandpass / Highpass / Volume — What the envelope controls: low-pass, band-pass or high-pass filter cutoff, or the volume.
  • Attack0.1 to 100 ms — How quickly the envelope follows rising level.
  • Release10 to 2000 ms — How quickly the envelope falls back.
  • Sensitivity−24 to +24 dB — Input gain into the detector; higher values reach the end of the sweep with softer playing.
  • Low Freq20 to 2000 Hz — Cutoff at the quiet end of the sweep.
  • High Freq500 to 15000 Hz — Cutoff at the loud end of the sweep.
  • Resonance0.5 to 10 — Filter Q; higher values give a more vocal, peaky wah.
  • DirectionUp / Down — Up = louder playing opens the filter; Down = louder playing closes it.
  • Mix0 to 100% — Blend between dry and processed signal.

Best uses

  • Funk auto-wah on guitar and bass
  • Touch-sensitive synth filtering
