Controls

• Attack−20 to +20 dB — Boost or cut applied to transients.
• Sustain−20 to +20 dB — Boost or cut applied to the sustain and body.
• Mix0 to 100% — Blend between dry and shaped signal.
• SpeedFast / Medium / Slow — How fast the detector reacts: Medium is the original timing, Fast catches shorter clicks, Slow treats longer hits as the attack.
• Focus Low20 to 20000 Hz — Lower edge of the band the shaping acts on, so only that part of the signal is detected and shaped (20 Hz = off).
• Focus High20 to 20000 Hz — Upper edge of the band the shaping acts on, e.g. 150 Hz to shape only the kick (20 kHz = off).
• Output ClipOff / On — Soft clip on the output that rounds off boosted transients before they reach 0 dBFS.
• Output−12 to +12 dB — Output level after shaping (0 dB = unchanged).

• Adding punch to kicks and snares
• Shortening room ring on drums
• Bringing out pick attack on guitars
• Softening harsh transients

Properties

Input → stereo-linked fast (1/20 ms) and slow (20/150 ms) envelopes → transient amount from their difference → gain blend of Attack and Sustain → Dry/Wet Mix → Output. Level-independent, no threshold; zero latency.
