Controls
Time0 to 2000 ms — Delay time in free mode.
Feedback0 to 100% — Amount of the echo fed back into the delay line, capped internally at 95%.
Mix0 to 100% — Blend between dry signal and echoes.
Tempo SyncOFF / ON — Locks the delay time to the project tempo.
Subdivision1/4 / 1/8 / 1/16 / 1/32 / 1/2 / 1/1 / 1/4D / 1/8D / 1/16D / 1/4T / 1/8T / 1/16T — Synced delay length: 1/4 = one beat; straight notes from 1/1 to 1/32 plus dotted (D) and triplet (T) values.
ModeStereo / Ping-Pong — Stereo keeps left and right on their own delay lines; Ping-Pong sends the mono sum into the left line and cross-feeds the lines, so the echoes alternate left and right.
Low Cut20 to 2000 Hz — One-pole high-pass inside the feedback loop: each repeat loses more low end. 20 Hz is off.
High Cut1000 to 20000 Hz — One-pole low-pass inside the feedback loop: each repeat gets darker, like tape or a bucket-brigade delay. 20 kHz is off.
Drive0 to 100% — Soft saturation inside the feedback loop: repeats get rounder and compress as they build up. 0% is off.
Modulation0 to 100% — Tape-like wow: two slow sine LFOs gently move the delay time by up to 4 ms, so the echoes waver in pitch. 0% is off.
Diffusion0 to 100% — A chain of short all-pass filters inside the feedback loop that smears every repeat a little more, turning the echoes into a reverb-like wash. 0% is off.
Ducking0 to 100% — Pushes the echoes down while the dry input is loud (10 ms attack, 250 ms release), so they bloom in the gaps between phrases. 0% is off.
FreezeOff / On — Holds the current echoes and repeats them forever: no new input enters the loop, feedback is 100% and the filters and drive are bypassed so the loop neither fades nor builds up.
Best uses
Slapback on vocals and guitars
Tempo-synced rhythmic echoes
Ping-pong echoes that bounce across the stereo field
Dark, saturated tape-style trails for transitions
Properties
Input → delay line (up to 2 s, or tempo-synced; Stereo: left and right independent, Ping-Pong: mono sum into the left line, lines cross-fed) → Low Cut → High Cut → Drive on every repeat inside the feedback loop → Dry/Wet Mix → Output. At their defaults the filters and drive are bypassed; zero latency.
