Controls

• B1 Freq20 to 1000 Hz — Centre frequency of band 1.
• B1 Gain−12 to +12 dB — Boost or cut band 1 reaches once its level is 12 dB over the threshold.
• B1 Q0.5 to 4 — Bandwidth of band 1.
• B1 Threshold−36 to 0 dB — Level at which band 1 starts to act.
• B2 Freq200 to 4000 Hz — Centre frequency of band 2.
• B2 Gain−12 to +12 dB — Boost or cut band 2 reaches once its level is 12 dB over the threshold.
• B2 Q0.5 to 4 — Bandwidth of band 2.

Best uses

• Taming resonances only when they ring out
• Controlling boomy low notes on bass or vocals
• Reducing harshness on loud passages only
• Lifting a band only when it is played
• Frequency-specific control on mixes

Properties

Input → four bell bands in series (each: band-pass detector → envelope → gain scaled by level over Threshold) → Makeup → Output. Below Threshold a band is neutral; detection is stereo-linked per band and there is no latency.
