Controls

• Target-14 LUFS / -16 LUFS / -23 LUFS — Loudness the readouts and the history graph are referenced to: -14 LUFS (most streaming services), -16 LUFS (Apple Music, podcasts) or -23 LUFS (EBU R128 broadcast).
• ScaleEBU +9 / EBU +18 — Vertical scale of the history graph, as in EBU Tech 3341: +9 shows 18 LU below to 9 LU above the target, +18 shows 36 LU below to 18 LU above.
• History10 s / 30 s / 1 min / 5 min — Time span of the history graph: 10 s, 30 s, 1 min or 5 min of short-term (bright) and momentary (grey) loudness.
• Auto ResetOff / On Play — On Play clears the integrated loudness, LRA, maxima and history every time playback starts; Off keeps measuring until you reset.
• ResetReset / Reset — Changing it clears the integrated loudness, LRA, true-peak and loudness maxima and the history graph.
• MonitorStereo / Mono — Stereo passes the audio through untouched (bit-exact). Mono folds it to mono for listening; the meter always measures the stereo input.

• Checking broadcast deliveries against EBU R128 (-23 LUFS, -1 dBTP)
• Keeping podcast episodes at a consistent loudness
• Watching true-peak overs before encoding to lossy formats

Properties

Input → ITU-R BS.1770-4 K-weighting (high shelf + high pass) → 100 ms energy blocks → Momentary (400 ms), Short-term (3 s), Integrated (gated at −70 LUFS and −10 LU), Loudness Range (EBU Tech 3342, 10th to 95th percentile, gated at −70 LUFS and −20 LU), sample peak and 4x oversampled true peak. Audio passes through unchanged (Monitor Mono is a listening aid). Zero latency. The plain JSFX only measures; the GFX, VST3 and CLAP versions show the readouts and a loudness history graph.
