The same music with the Large Hall preset and without the plugin. Switch while it plays.

Controls

  • Room Size10 to 100% — Scales all delay lengths (25–100% of full size); larger values give longer, sparser reflections and a longer tail.
  • Decay0 to 100% — Comb feedback; higher values give a longer tail (roughly 0.4 s to 4 s at default size).
  • Damping0 to 100% — High-frequency absorption in the tail: 0% is bright, higher values make the tail progressively darker (low-pass from 16 kHz down to 1.2 kHz).
  • Mix0 to 100% — Blend between dry signal and reverb.
  • Bypass0 to 1 — Passes the input unprocessed when set to 1.
  • Pre-Delay0 to 250 ms — Delays the signal feeding the reverb (0–250 ms) so the tail starts after the dry sound; the dry signal is not delayed.
  • Low Cut20 to 1000 Hz — 12 dB/oct high-pass on the reverb only, to keep the tail out of the low end; off at 20 Hz.
  • High Cut1000 to 20000 Hz — 12 dB/oct low-pass on the reverb only, for a darker, less splashy tail; off at 20 kHz.
  • Width0 to 200% — Stereo width of the reverb (mid/side): 0% is mono, 100% unchanged, 200% extra wide.
  • Modulation0 to 100% — Slow, gentle movement of the internal delay lengths that smears metallic ringing and gives the tail a chorused shimmer; 0% is off.
  • FreezeOff / On — Holds the current tail forever: the loop stops losing level and no new input enters, for pads and drones.
  • CharacterClassic / Plate / Hall — Classic is the original room algorithm; Plate adds dense input diffusion and a brighter tail; Hall adds the diffusion with longer, wider delays for a bigger, smoother space.

Best uses

  • Room and hall ambience on dry sources
  • Stereo space on vocals and instruments
  • Dark, damped tails for pads
  • Quick sketch reverb during writing

Properties

Input → mono sum → four damped feedback combs per side (right side slightly longer for a decorrelated stereo tail) → two series all-passes per side → Dry/Wet Mix → Output. Delay lengths and damping are scaled to the sample rate, so it sounds the same at 44.1, 48 or 96 kHz; zero latency.
